New X-Men Trailer: Dark Phoenix Ruins Much of the Movie

Watch the latest X-Men trailer: Dark Phoenix, coming out in June
The last trailer of X-Men: Dark Phoenix is there, it stupidly reveals the first two-thirds of the film. This is not a joke. If you do not want the majority of the movie to fail, return it now. Unless you've seen the previous trailer, in which case you probably already know a big revelation that filmmakers should have recorded for the big screen. We will not discuss it until the next paragraph. So you have the opportunity to jump if you are interested in plot points and deaths.

The soothing voice of Charles Xavier (James McAvoy) opens the new trailer for Dark Phoenix, informing NASA that the X-Men are about to rescue some astronauts. "Do we do space missions now? Great," says Quicksilver (Evan Peters) with indifference, as expected, things go wrong in space, while Jean Gray (Sophie Turner) is struck by what appears to be a force of extraterrestrial life. She tells Xavier that John should be dead, but she is not.

Cyclops (Tye Sheridan) tells him that the school's young mutants call her "Phoenix", who later finds a new extraterrestrial character who changes shape (Jessica Chastain). Jean says he loses control, which leads to "bad things" but "it feels good". The character of Chastain explains that the extraterrestrial power "destroyed everything with which it had come into contact until you are". Then he takes his manipulation and puts words in the mouth of John, who begins to believe that other X-Men "fear and seek to destroy his".

This is where the moment of the previous trailer comes in because Mystic's attempts to calm John are too dangerous for her. Although the trailers are still testing him, writer and director Simon Kinberg has already unsuccessfully confirmed that Mystic would die in the film. However, it's not as if the new trailer left it too ambiguous. Right after Mystic's shot, Xavier points out that "she's going to kill us all", which then divides the X-Men: some naturally want to save her, while others are convinced that it's not about Jeans.

Then we see a second attempt to "save" John, which in a way involves a train and Magneto (Michael Fassbinder) stupidly threatens Jean's surest personality, Dark Phoenix. There are plans by Jean that releases the extraterrestrial life force, which also invades Xavier's brain, the device he uses to amplify his powers. Obviously, the heroes will win in the end, but fortunately, this bit is not revealed in the trailer.

Here is the official synopsis of X-Men: Dark Phoenix, through Fox:
"It's the story of one of X-Men's most beloved characters, Jean Gray, who is evolving into the iconic Dark Phoenix." During a rescue mission in space, life in danger, John is struck by a cosmic force that turns it into one of the most powerful mutants of all. With his increasingly unstable power, but also with his own demons, John becomes uncontrollable, tears the X-Men family and threatens to destroy the fabric. Our Planet This film is the most intense and emotional X-Men movie ever made. It's the culmination of 20 years of X-Men movies because the mutant family we know and love has to face its enemy. The most devastating so far: one of them. "X-Men: Dark Phoenix will be released on June 7 in cinemas in India and around the world.
